Visit the One and Only Border Patrol Museum
With all of the interest in border security over the last few years, a visit to the Border Patrol Museum is a must. This museum in El Paso is the only one of its kind in the country. You will learn about the history of the Border Patrol from the days of the Old West, through Prohibition and World War II, right up to current operations. A museum mentor will guide us through displays of weapons, paintings, documents, equipment, photos, artifacts, and “hands-on” vehicles such as a jeep, a helicopter, an airplane, scarab boat, snowmobile and an ATV.
Plan to meet at the museum on Saturday, July 20th, at 9:30 AM at 4315 Woodrow Bean/Transmountain Road just next door to the El Paso Museum of Archaeology. MAP. No reservations are necessary.
